  • Michael R. Haas

    VMD

    Dr. Haas's primary professional focus is to enhance relationships between pets and people and VCA AVH Animal Hospital operates with that mission at its heart. A graduate of Lafayette College, Dr. Haas went on to receive a Master of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Rhode Island. He completed his formal education at the University of Pennsylvania where he was awarded a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. His particular clinical interests include pet behavior issues, dentistry and skin disease. . Dr. Haas has a zeal for local history and he published a monograph on the history of Flicksville, PA where he, his wife, Jennifer, and various pets make their home. He also enjoys natural history, including bird watching and the promotion of native plant species to restore a viable habitat for our wild creatures. Dr. Haas is a licensed pilot and he and Jennifer love to travel, taking their bicycles and their beloved dog, Beans, whenever they can. .

  • Elizabeth Dymond

    DVM

    Dr. Dymond rejoined our staff in December 2009. She graduated from Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in June 2004 and completed local externships, including Valley Central Referral Hospital. Prior to veterinary school, Elizabeth earned a B.S. in Marine Biology at Millersville University where she also interned for a year at the Baltimore Aquarium. Her interests include most outdoor activities like mountain biking, and running with her dogs, Chira and Jarvis, while down time includes cuddling up with her cat, Livvie and some reading materials.

  • Jonathan Goodwin

    DVM

    Dr. Goodwin received his veterinary degree from Tuskegee University. He completed his internship in 2000 at the Coral Springs Animal Hospital, and then went on to complete a cardiology residency at Purdue University from 2005 to 2008. Dr. Goodwin is a Diplomate of The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Cardiology). He is one of the less than two hundred board certified cardiologists in the United States.

  • Rolan Tripp

    DVM

    Since obtaining his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from U.C. Davis in 1979, Dr. Tripp has served as the California Veterinary Medical Association Chairman of Membership, the California Representative for American Heartworm Society, and President of the Santa Clara Veterinary Medical Association. In addition to private small animal practice, Dr. Tripp created a video program, "VideoVet." Four production awards led to offers from PBS and Cable Health Network to produce video segments about animals. His interest in animal behavior developed after discovering that behavior is the most common concern for pet owners, and the most common cause of euthanasia in pets. He is a paid content consultant and on-air personality for the Animal Planet Network and can be seen on the shows, "Petsburgh, USA" and "Good Dog U.". While developing a special interest in behavior, Dr. Tripp discovered the majority of problems with dogs could be prevented with "puppyhood" socialization. Dr. Tripp has supervised the training of over 4,000 puppies and has done extensive consulting on feline behavior. He is currently a member of the AVMA, CVMA, SCVMA, Humane Society, Society for Veterinary Medical Ethics, and the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior. In 1996 he was the featured speaker at the Animal Behavior Seminar in Tokyo, Japan. In 1997, he presented a paper at the International Conference on Behavioral Medicine in Birmingham , England, and lectured at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. He is an Affiliate Professor of Applied Animal Behavior at both Colorado State University Veterinary School and the University of Wisconsin Veterinary Schools. Dr. Tripp works along with his wife, Susan, in an effort to transform the veterinary profession and family relationships with pets through behavior education and services. They created the AnimalBehavior.Net (ABN). This service allows AVH to provide behavioral diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plans for behavior and phase out unwanted behaviors, keeping pets happy and well-mannered in the home.

  • Michelle Sandrock-Corrow

    DVM

    Michelle L. Sandrock-Corrow is a 2003 graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a Lehigh Valley native and has spent her career devoted to the care of both dogs and cats. She has a strong interest in medicine and soft tissue surgery. As a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, Dr. Sandrock brings an unique expertise to VCA AVH. She and her husband, Steve, have a strong love for terriers and outdoors. She is thrilled to join the VCA AVH family and is excited to welcome new and current clients.
